Gary Finkel, Alliant Technologies CFO, Announced as Finalist for Prestigious New Jersey Technology Council Hall of Fame Award

Morristown, NJ – June 8, 2016 – The New Jersey Technology Council (NJTC) announced that Gary Finkel, CFO of Alliant Technologies, has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious CFO Hall of Fame Award.  The CFO Hall of Fame Award recognizes a current or former CFO who, over a period of time, in one company or several, has accomplished multiple achievements which have elevated them to a level of recognition amongst their peers. The award recipient will be announced at NJTC’s annual CFO Awards Breakfast on June 10, 2016 at the Forsgate Country Club in Monroe, NJ. 

Gary Finkel has been the Chief Financial Officer at Alliant Technologies since the company’s inception in 1998. Gary has grown Alliant from the ground up alongside CEO Bruce Flitcroft. Gary established the financial structure and business model for Alliant’s proprietary IT infrastructure utility, Continuous Infrastructure Service (CIS®). Gary has been instrumental in Alliant’s movement to transform the IT industry. He spearheaded the company’s breakthrough financing agreements, which allows Alliant to provide clients with dedicated IT infrastructure in a utility consumption model. In 2014, Gary led the development of Alliant’s partner company, Red Forge, which is responsible for the research and development of the intellectual property behind CIS®. Gary, working together with Alliant’s systems development team, created a tremendously well received, simplified IT utility billing experience for their customers.
