Social Media and Content Marketing Analyst

As a Social Media and Content Marketing Analyst, you’ll contribute to this mission by growing our exciting, critically important social media channel, spearheading innovative content marketing, and increasing our social following and engagement across multiple media channels. This position is responsible for implementing our content plans and serving as the active brand voice for TenFour. This role uses social media to engage consumers, as well as provide support to our internal social media contributors. In the TenFour spirit of innovation, you will also implement key performance indicators to ensure campaigns are tracking appropriately and analyze data to optimize these marketing campaigns.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and exercise your creative genius in more than just content marketing and social media. You will also develop visually engaging materials, including infographics to videos, for the most effective and compelling storytelling.

The Social Media and Content Marketing analyst reports to the Director of Marketing on the Product Marketing team. We will give you all the support you need to help you reach your full potential. Responsibilities

  • Oversee brand presence on various communities, message boards, forums and platforms and ensure that the brand voice, activity and messaging is on-brand. This includes posts as well as individual threads and conversation starters within the message boards
  • Deepen the community’s relationship through daily engagement, nurturing, and relationship building
  • Post social media content on appropriate social channels according to provided marketing plans. Content may be posted on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo, Google+, and more.
  • Actively manage communities
  • Seek out influencers and actively engaged consumers to inspire and motivate them to share information and talk about the brand
  • Participate in real-time community conversations on behalf of the brand
  • Conduct research and analysis
  • Support the team with strategic insight and share best practices and learnings to inform our content strategy
  • Capture and communicate opportunities generated from social media content that influence current or future products
  • Be the gatekeeper for all content - ensuring it is proofread, approved and applicable before posting
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that campaigns are tracking appropriately
  • Be the company “go-to” for all social media platform news, as to help inform all teams of any platform changes or opportunities
  • Represent the brand at relevant industry tradeshows, events and functions
  • Develop and support content creation and clear messaging that communicates our differentiated value proposition—Impeccable communications skills and brand building skills are critical
  • Adapt existing and create new marketing copy
  • Present creative ideas on messaging and branding
  • Assist in designing and creating new sales presentations
  • Apply brand identity systems, typography, photography, color and other ingredients to create innovative visual solutions that meet business and user needs
  • Keep a steady pulse on our industry, market, and competition
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define improvements to internal and external communications from an employee, customer and market perspective
  • Develop digital media experiences that exceed client goals including the support of digital prototyping and creation of interfaces, graphic design, navigational and user interface structures
  • Provide writing sample and/or design portfolio

Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or other related field from a four-year university
  • MS Marketing/Communications or MBA a plus
  • Prior work experience in social media, communications or content marketing
  • Experience with social media management systems and social media analytics tools
  • Knowledge of social media best practices with verifiable examples of social media marketing successes and wins
  • Understanding of the social media universe, including experience with YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Tumblr, Google+, Wordpress etc.
  • Exceptional writing skills and can visualize and convey a message into relevant and interesting content
  • Track-record of compelling content curation, creation and editing (design, positioning, creative, copywriting)
  • Strong project management, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to think on your feet
  • Excel at research and be able to identify threats and opportunities in social media content
  • Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
  • Knowledge of graphic, video and/or web design/analytics and storyboarding is preferred
  • Fundamental understanding of digital demand generation tactics (LinkedIn, AdWords, etc.)
  • Collaborative team player with process improvement mindset and open to feedback
  • Quick learner, with personal drive and motivation to achieve goals
  • Passion for learning about new technologies and marketing techniques
  • Ability to interface at all levels maintaining strong working relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
  • Excellent sense of humor and a positive attitude is very important
